The Chinese Lunar New Year has just passed. I send my warmest greetings to all of you for the betterment of 2007.
The 9th World Wushu Championships, which is the qualification system of the Beijing 2008 Wushu Tournament will be held in Beijing this year. The preparation is going on busily at the moment. After many discussions with the BOCOG and the authority of the stadium, the dates of the competition are finally confirmed. The opening ceremony will be on November 11 and the competition will be from November 12 to 17, 2007. The venue will be at the stadium of the National Olympic Center. The IWUF committee meetings and the Congress will be held prior to the opening ceremony.
